We collect information you give us directly - such as your name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number - when you sign up for updates, request a yard sign, volunteer, register for an event, or contact us. If you make a contribution, our payment processor collects the information required by Michigan campaign finance law, including occupation and employer where applicable.
We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit the site, such as browser and device type and the pages you view, in order to keep the site working and improve it.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to your questions, send campaign updates and event invitations, coordinate volunteer activity, deliver yard signs, request support, and meet applicable campaign finance reporting requirements.
Text Messaging
If you provide your telephone number and check the consent box on our sign-up form, you consent to receive calls and text messages from the Committee. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Messaging may include requests for donations. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any contribution or purchase.
Text Messaging Opt-In Data: We will not share or sell your text messaging opt-in data, consent, or related personal information with any third parties, unless required by law.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with vendors and service providers who work on the Committee's behalf - for example, email, texting, and payment providers - solely so they can perform services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law, including contribution information that must be reported publicly to the Michigan Bureau of Elections.
Your Choices
You may unsubscribe from emails using the link at the bottom of any message, reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts, or contact us at any time to update or remove your information from our lists.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
